Tims at Home & Merchandise – Coffee, K-Cups & Mug Prices 2026

Tims at Home is Tim Hortons’ grocery line — the same coffee you get at the counter, sold in bags, cans, and K-Cups at supermarkets across Canada — plus TimShop.ca, the official merchandise store. This page is the price reference for both: what each format costs, where to buy it, and the per-cup math that decides which one is actually cheapest.

One rule for this whole page: grocery prices move. Flyer sales swing coffee prices $3–8 in a week, and every retailer prices differently. Every figure below is a range with the retailer named — a single price with no source is how other sites lie to you.

The per-cup math (read this first)

Everything on this page reduces to one question: what does a cup cost? Restaurant medium Original Blend runs ~$1.83–2.09. Here’s every home format, cheapest first:

FormatPrice seenCupsPer cup
Bulk bag 1.36kg (Costco, sale)$26.99~136~$0.20
Fine grind 875–930g bag$22.00–28.99~85–93~$0.24–0.34
Fine grind 300g bag$11.99–14.99~30~$0.40–0.50
K-Cups 80ct (Costco)$39.9980~$0.50
K-Cups 30ct$23.9930~$0.80
K-Cups 12ct$11.9912~$1.00
Restaurant medium$1.83–2.091$1.83–2.09

The headline: a home-brewed cup from a bulk bag costs roughly one-tenth of a restaurant medium. K-Cups sit in the middle at about half the restaurant price — you’re paying for convenience, and the smaller the box, the bigger the convenience tax. Assumptions: ~10g coffee per 250mL cup; bag prices are the biggest variable.

TimShop.ca: merchandise

TimShop.ca is the official merch store — mugs, tumblers, apparel, seasonal collections. Prices below are from TimShop’s own product pages (the only verified merch prices on the internet, as far as we can tell):

TimShop mechanics worth knowing: free shipping over $50, and a limited-time 10 Tims Rewards points per $1 spent. Seasonal collections (Halloween, holiday) also sell at participating restaurants — “prices may vary, while supplies last.” The 2026 Provincial Mug collection (per-province and city designs, stackable 16oz ceramic) is the current flagship: $12.99 each, or $159.99 for the set of 12 — which works out to $13.33/mug, so you’re paying for the collector box, not a volume discount.

Never pay full price: the flyer game

The single most useful sentence on this page: grocery coffee goes on sale constantly, so never pay the shelf price. In one week of listings we saw the 300g bag at $14.99 (Loblaws regular), $13.99 (Sobeys), and $11.99 (Jean Coutu promo) — the same product, $3 apart, on the same day. The 875g bag was $22 on sale at Real Canadian Superstore (was $24.99). Buy the big bag on a flyer week and your per-cup cost drops to ~$0.20. The patient buyer pays half what the impatient one does, for identical coffee.

Grocery vs TimShop vs restaurant: the channels

The same bean exists in three channels at three prices. Grocery is cheapest per cup (especially on flyer). TimShop.ca charges full price but carries exclusives (merch, syrups, collector sets) with free shipping over $50. Restaurants sell a 400g bag (~$17.99 on delivery listings) — the odd middle child nobody talks about: convenient if you’re already there, but ~$45/kg makes it the priciest per-gram option on this page. And the counter cup remains the luxury format at ~$2 a cup — you’re paying for someone else to brew it.

Which format should you buy?

It depends on what you value. Cheapest per cup: the big bag (875g+), especially from a flyer week or Costco — ~$0.20–0.34 a cup, roughly a tenth of the restaurant price. Best balance: the 300g bag — still under $0.50 a cup, no bulk commitment, always on a shelf near you. Convenience: K-Cups — the 80ct Costco box (~$0.50/cup) is the only K-Cup format that makes financial sense; the 12ct box at ~$1.00 a cup is paying double for the same coffee in smaller cardboard. Gifting or collecting: TimShop — you’re paying for the object, not the coffee, and that’s fine as long as you know it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tims at Home coffee the same as restaurant coffee?

It’s the same Original Blend / Dark Roast beans, packaged for home brewing (fine grind for drip, K-Cups for Keurig). The restaurant cup also reflects their brewing equipment and water — close, not identical.

Are Tim Hortons K-Cups cheaper than buying coffee at the restaurant?

Yes — roughly half the price per cup (~$0.50–1.00 vs ~$1.83–2.09), depending on box size. But a 300g bag (~$0.40–0.50/cup) beats every K-Cup format. The 80ct Costco box is the K-Cup sweet spot at ~$0.50/cup.

How much are Tim Hortons mugs?

The 2026 Provincial 16oz ceramic mugs are $12.99 each on TimShop.ca; the set of 12 is $159.99. Older holiday mugs were $11.95 (2022). Seasonal collection prices vary.

Where can I buy Tim Hortons coffee for home?

Major grocery stores (Loblaws, Sobeys, Metro, Walmart, Costco), TimShop.ca, and — the forgotten option — Tims restaurants themselves sell 400g bags. Prices vary by retailer; buy on flyer weeks.

How much is Tim Hortons RTD iced coffee?

We don’t know — and neither does anyone else we’ve found. Launched May 2026 (official), but no retailer has a published price we could verify. If you spot one on a shelf, email us a photo.
