Tim Hortons Menu Canada 2026 – Prices, Calories & Caffeine
The Tim Hortons Canada menu covers brewed coffee, espresso drinks, tea and hot chocolate, cold drinks including Iced Capp, cold brew and Fruit Quenchers, breakfast sandwiches, wraps and bagels, lunch wraps, bowls and flatbread pizzas, and a bakery range of donuts, Timbits, muffins and cookies. A small Original Blend coffee runs about $1.59 to $1.65, Timbits from about $0.35 each, and breakfast sandwiches from about $2.99.

Hot Drinks
Tim Hortons brews Original Blend, a medium roast, as its standard coffee, alongside Dark Roast and decaf. The hot menu also covers espresso drinks, steeped and specialty teas, hot chocolate and French Vanilla. Cup sizes and volumes are the same across every hot beverage.
Tim Hortons cup sizes
| Size | Fluid ounces | Millilitres |
|---|---|---|
| Extra Small | 8 fl oz | 237 mL |
| Small | 10 fl oz | 296 mL |
| Medium | 14 fl oz | 414 mL |
| Large | 20 fl oz | 591 mL |
| Extra Large | 24 fl oz | 710 mL |
These have been the Canadian sizes since January 2012, when Tim Hortons introduced a 24 oz extra large and moved every name below it down a step. The 8 oz cup that had been called small became extra small, the 10 oz medium became small, the 14 oz large became medium, and the 20 oz extra large became large. Customers received the same volume for the same price — only the names changed.
Extra small is not carried at every restaurant and is not sold in the United States, where 24 oz is the largest size. A large ordered in Buffalo is not the same drink as a large ordered in Hamilton.
How much caffeine is in Tim Hortons coffee?
Tim Hortons does not publish caffeine content. Its Canadian nutrition guide lists calories, fat, saturated and trans fat, cholesterol, sodium, carbohydrates, fibre, sugars and protein — there is no caffeine column for any drink.
The figures below are third-party estimates, most widely compiled by Caffeine Informer.
| Size | Volume | Estimated caffeine | Per 100 mL |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 296 mL | about 140 mg | about 47 mg |
| Medium | 414 mL | about 205 mg | about 50 mg |
| Large | 591 mL | about 270 mg | about 46 mg |
| Extra Large | 710 mL | about 330 mg | about 46 mg |
Published estimates disagree — a medium is cited anywhere from 180 mg to 205 mg depending on the source. Brewed coffee caffeine moves with grind, brew time, water temperature and how full the cup is poured, so two identical orders won’t match exactly.
Decaf still carries a small amount, roughly 12 mg in a large. Espresso drinks scale by shot count rather than cup size, so a small latte and a large latte built on the same shots carry similar caffeine at different volumes.
Health Canada publishes daily caffeine guidance for adults, with lower figures during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Medium: $1.83–$2.09

Extra Large: $2.35–$2.69
Price per 100 mL, Original Blend: small about $0.54 · medium about $0.44 to $0.50 · large about $0.35 to $0.39 · extra large about $0.33 to $0.38. The step from small to large cuts the cost per millilitre by roughly a third.
A Double Double is Original Blend with two creams and two sugars. A Triple Triple takes three of each. Tim Hortons lists both as their own line items in its Canadian nutrition guide alongside Original Blend and Decaf, so these are ordered products with their own published nutrition, not just counter slang. Cream and sugar cost nothing extra at most restaurants but they change the calories substantially — a black coffee is under 5 calories at any size, and adding cream and sugar takes it into the low hundreds. Check the official guide for the figure at your size.

Item: Espresso
Small: Single $1.49 · 3 cal

Large: —
Espresso drinks are built on shots, not volume, so the caffeine gap between a small latte and a large latte is smaller than the price gap suggests. The Americano is the cheapest espresso-based drink on the board and the lowest-calorie one — under 5 calories at every size.
Tea

Item: Steeped Tea
Small: $1.79–$1.89 · 0 cal
Medium: $1.99 · 0 cal
Large: $2.29–$2.49 · 0 cal

Item: London Fog
Small: $3.29 · 110 cal
Medium: $3.79 · 160 cal
Large: $4.29 · 240 cal
Extra Large: —
Steeped tea and specialty tea are different products. Steeped tea is the standard orange pekoe brew; specialty tea covers the bagged varieties — earl grey, green, chai, mint and fruit infusions, which change with the season. Both are calorie-free black. A London Fog is earl grey with steamed milk and vanilla, which is why it sits with the espresso drinks on price.
Hot Chocolate

Item: Hot Chocolate
Small: $1.99–$2.39 · 220 cal
Medium: $2.29–$2.69 · 280 cal
Large: $2.49–$2.99 · 380 cal

Medium: $2.79–$2.99 · 330 cal
Large: $2.99–$3.29 · 430 cal
Extra Large: $3.29–$3.59 · 570 cal
French Vanilla is a sweetened powder-based drink rather than a brewed coffee or an espresso build, which is why it sits between the two on price. It carries caffeine, unlike the hot chocolates. An extra large French Vanilla at 570 calories is the highest-calorie hot drink on the standard menu.
Take Twelve

Item: Take Twelve
Price: $19.99
Serves: 12 cups
Twelve cups of brewed coffee in an insulated box, with cups, lids, cream, sugar and stirrers included. That works out to about $1.67 a cup — roughly the price of a small ordered individually, with the milk and sugar thrown in. For office orders it’s the cheapest way to buy Tim Hortons coffee per cup. Order ahead where possible; most restaurants need notice for larger quantities.
Cold Drinks
Tim Hortons runs the broadest cold menu of any Canadian coffee chain — frozen coffee, cold brew with foam builds, iced espresso, matcha, fruit drinks in five preparation styles, fountain pop and canned energy. Sizes match the hot menu: small 296 mL, medium 414 mL, large 591 mL, extra large 710 mL where offered.
Two things to know before ordering. Cold drinks carry the highest calorie and sugar loads on the entire Tim Hortons menu — a large flavoured Iced Capp runs close to 700 calories, more than a Farmer’s Breakfast Sandwich. And availability moves more here than anywhere else, because seasonal flavours rotate through the Quencher and Iced Capp lines several times a year.
Iced Capp®
Frozen blended coffee. The signature Tim Hortons cold drink, on the menu since 1999.

Item: Original Iced Capp
Small: $3.29–$3.99 · 260 cal · 38 g sugar
Medium: $3.79–$4.49 · 330 cal · 49 g sugar
Large: $4.29–$4.99 · 430 cal · 64 g sugar

Item: Mocha Iced Capp
Small: $3.99–$4.29 · 430 cal
Medium: $4.49–$4.79 · 530 cal
Large: $4.99–$5.49 · 650 cal

Item: Vanilla Iced Capp
Small: $3.99–$4.29 · 440 cal
Medium: $4.49–$4.79 · 540 cal
Large: $4.99–$5.49 · 660 cal

Item: Caramel Iced Capp
Small: $3.99–$4.29 · 440 cal
Medium: $4.49–$4.79 · 530 cal
Large: $4.99–$5.49 · 660 cal

Item: OREO® Double Stuf Iced Capp
Small: $3.99–$4.29 · 450 cal
Medium: $4.49–$4.79 · 560 cal
Large: $4.99–$5.49 · 700 cal
The Original is the cheapest and the lightest by a wide margin — flavoured versions add roughly 170 to 250 calories at the same size. A large Double Stuf at around 700 calories is the highest-calorie drink on the menu.
Iced Capps can be made with cream, milk or chocolate milk. Cream is standard; asking for milk lowers the calories without changing the price.
Iced Coffee
Brewed coffee poured over ice. Different drink from the Iced Capp — not blended, not frozen, far lighter.

Item: Original Iced Coffee
Small: $2.19–$2.49 · 120 cal
Medium: $2.49–$2.59 · 150 cal
Large: $2.79–$2.89 · 240 cal

Item: Black Iced Coffee
Small: $2.19–$2.49 · 0 cal
Medium: $2.49–$2.59 · 0 cal
Large: $2.79–$2.89 · 0 cal
The original comes pre-sweetened with cream and sugar. Black is the same coffee with neither — zero calories, same price. If you want a cold coffee under 5 calories, this is the only one on the board.
Cold Brew
Steeped cold for a lower-acid, smoother cup. Sold black or with a cold foam build on top.

Item: Original Cold Brew
Small: $2.49–$2.99 · 120 cal
Medium: $2.99–$3.49 · 150 cal

Item: Toasted Marshmallow Cold Brew with Infused Cold Foam
Small: $3.49 · 230 cal
Medium: $3.99 · 270 cal
Large: $4.49 · 350 cal

Item: Caramel Toffee Cold Brew with Espresso-Infused Foam
Small: $3.49 · 210 cal
Medium: $3.99 · 250 cal
Large: $4.49 · 320 cal
Cold foam builds rotate. Hazelnut, marshmallow and caramel toffee have all run in recent cycles, and flavours change with the season — check the board for what’s pouring now.
Cold brew carries more caffeine per millilitre than drip coffee because of the long steep. Tim Hortons publishes no caffeine figures for it.
Iced Latte
Espresso and cold milk over ice. Built on shots, so a small and a large can carry similar caffeine at different volumes.

Item: Original Iced Latte
Small: $2.99–$3.19 · 150 cal
Medium: $3.49–$3.69 · 200 cal
Large: $3.99–$4.19 · 250 cal

Unsweetened is the same drink without syrup — around 40% fewer calories at the same price. The Protein line is a 2026 addition, part of a wider push into protein-enhanced and functional drinks.
Matcha
Green tea powder whisked with milk, hot or iced. Added to the Canadian menu recently and still absent from most menu guides.
| Item | Small | Medium | Large |
|---|---|---|---|
| Matcha Latte (hot) | $3.49 · 100 cal | $3.99 · 150 cal | $4.49 · 210 cal |
| Original Iced Matcha Latte | $3.49 · 150 cal | $3.99 · 210 cal | $4.49 · 260 cal |
| Unsweetened Iced Matcha Latte | $3.49 · 100 cal | $3.99 · 130 cal | $4.49 · 160 cal |
| Vanilla Iced Matcha Latte | $4.49 · 260 cal | $4.99 · 320 cal | $5.49 · 370 cal |
Matcha carries caffeine — less than a brewed coffee of the same size, more than steeped tea. Availability varies; smaller and rural restaurants may not stock it.
Fruit Quenchers
This is where most people get lost. Quenchers are not a list of twenty-five drinks — they are five flavour bases prepared five different ways. Pick a flavour, pick a format.
| Frozen | Lemonade | Sparkling | Iced Tea | Cloud | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strawberry Watermelon | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | — |
| Blackberry Yuzu | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Orange Tangerine | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Peach | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | — |
| Pineapple Dragon Fruit | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | — | — |
What each format is:
Frozen — blended with ice, slushy texture. The heaviest at 300–490 calories. Lemonade — fruit flavour over lemonade, served cold. 80–230 calories. Sparkling — carbonated, the lightest option at 40–160 calories. Iced Tea — fruit flavour over black iced tea. Around 80–240 calories. Cloud — topped with a light foam. 360–390 calories.
Typical pricing by format
| Format | Small | Medium | Large |
|---|---|---|---|
| Frozen | $3.49–$3.99 | $3.99–$4.49 | $4.49–$4.99 |
| Lemonade | $2.29–$2.79 | $2.79–$3.29 | $3.29–$3.79 |
| Sparkling | $2.69–$2.79 | $3.19–$3.29 | $3.69–$3.79 |
| Iced Tea | $2.79–$3.29 | $3.29–$3.79 | $3.79–$4.29 |
| Cloud | $3.49–$3.99 | $3.99–$4.49 | $4.49–$4.99 |
Sparkling is the cheapest and lightest by a clear margin — a large sparkling runs around 130–160 calories against 410–490 for a large frozen in the same flavour, for about a dollar less.
Flavour bases rotate. Wildberry Hibiscus and Raspberry Mojito have both run in recent cycles, and a Protein Quencher line was added in 2026. Assume the grid shifts a couple of times a year.
Frozen Lemonade
| Item | Small | Medium | Large |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic Frozen Lemonade | $2.39–$2.79 · 200 cal | $2.89–$3.29 · 250 cal | $3.39–$3.79 · 330 cal |
| Strawberry Frozen Lemonade | $2.79 · 200–250 cal | $3.29 · 250–310 cal | $3.79 · 330–410 cal |
| Mango Frozen Lemonade | $2.79 · 240 cal | $3.29 · 300 cal | $3.79 · 400 cal |
Separate line from the Quenchers, made on a lemonade base rather than a fruit concentrate.
Creamy Chills
Blended dessert drinks. Closest thing on the menu to a milkshake.
| Item | Small | Medium | Large |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vanilla Creamy Chill | $3.79–$3.99 · 450 cal | $4.49 · 560 cal | $4.79–$4.99 · 690 cal |

| Caramel Toffee Creamy Chill | $3.99 · 450 cal | $4.49 · 540 cal | $4.99 · 670 cal |
Caffeine-free unless you ask for a shot added. At 670–690 calories a large, these sit alongside the flavoured Iced Capps at the top of the menu.
Fountain Pop
| Item | Small | Medium | Large |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coca-Cola®, Diet Coke®, Sprite® | $1.79 | — | — |
| Fuze Iced Tea | $1.79 · 160 cal | — | — |

| Vanilla Light Soda Swirl | $2.49 · 80 cal | $2.99 · 100 cal | $3.49 · 160 cal |
Soda Swirls are fountain pop blended with soft-serve. The Light version cuts calories by roughly two thirds at a lower price.
Fountain service is not carried at every restaurant.

Breakfast Menu
When breakfast is served
Most Tim Hortons restaurants start breakfast when they open, commonly between 5:00 and 6:00 AM. Many now serve breakfast items all day, but this varies by restaurant — it is not a national guarantee, and some locations still stop breakfast service late morning. Restaurants in airports, hospitals, universities and highway service centres run different hours again.
The only reliable answer for your specific restaurant is the Tim Hortons app or the store locator, both of which show live hours and live menus for the location you select. Any site telling you Tim Hortons serves breakfast from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM at all locations is guessing.
Breakfast Sandwiches
Every breakfast sandwich can be built on your choice of bread. That choice changes the calories more than most people expect.
Bread options: English muffin (homestyle bun) · biscuit · croissant · plain bagel or any bagel variety · Bagel BELT is bagel-only
| Item | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|
| Simply Sausage Sandwich | $2.99–$3.49 | 450 |
| Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich | $3.99–$4.49 | 270 |
| Bacon Breakfast Sandwich | $4.49–$4.99 | 330 |
| Sausage Breakfast Sandwich | $4.49–$4.99 | 530 |
| Double Stacked Breakfast Sandwich | $5.49–$5.99 | 580 |
| Farmer’s Breakfast Sandwich | $5.49–$5.99 | 680 |
| Bagel BELT | $5.49–$5.59 | 490 |
| Maple Bacon Cheddar Croissant Breakfast Sandwich | $5.79 | 370 |
| Scrambled Egg Loaded Croissant | $5.49 | 263 |
| Protein Bagel BELT | $5.49 | 397 |
The Simply Sausage is the cheapest hot breakfast on the menu and is frequently offered around $2.99 when paired with any size coffee. The Egg & Cheese at 270 calories is the lightest full sandwich. The Farmer’s — egg, sausage, bacon, cheese and hashbrown together — is the heaviest at 680.
A Bagel BELT is bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato on a bagel of your choice. The Protein version swaps in a higher-protein build at the same price point.
Breakfast Wraps
| Item | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|
| Farmer’s Breakfast Wrap | $5.49–$5.59 | 509–640 |

| Maple Brown Butter Scrambled Egg Farmer’s Wrap | $5.49 | 210 |
| Grilled Breakfast Wrap | $4.79 | 530 |
Calorie figures for the wraps vary between published sources more than any other breakfast item, largely because build and portion changed through 2025. Confirm against the official nutrition guide before relying on a number.
Breakfast Boxes & Bundles
| Item | Price | Calories | Serves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scrambled Egg Loaded Box | $5.59–$7.99 | 231–600 | 1 |
| Maple Brown Butter Scrambled Egg Loaded Box | $7.99 | 231 | 1 |

| Farmer’s Breakfast Bundle (serves 4–6) | $9.99–$19.99 | 5,088 | 4–6 |
Bundles pair sandwiches with hashbrowns and drinks. For two people a bundle typically beats buying the components separately; run the numbers against the sandwich prices above before ordering.

Omelette Bites are the highest-protein item in this group and the only egg-based side.
Lunch & Dinner Menu
Lunch service typically begins at 10:30 or 11:00 AM. Some restaurants carry lunch items all day; smaller locations may not stock the full lunch range at all.

| Habanero Sous Vide Chicken Wrap | $6.49 | 650 |
Loaded Wraps are the larger build — grilled chicken or vegetables with rice, cheese and sauce in a warmed tortilla. Craveables are the smaller, cheaper format built for a quick lunch. The veggie versions of the Loaded Wraps run roughly $1 less and about 130 calories lighter than the chicken.
Bowls
Same fillings as the Loaded Wraps, served over rice in a bowl instead of a tortilla.
| Item | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|
| Cilantro Lime Chicken Loaded Bowl with Cheese | $7.99–$9.99 | 570–590 |
| Habanero Chicken Loaded Bowl with Cheese | $7.99–$9.99 | 540–570 |
| BBQ Chicken Loaded Bowl with Cheese | $7.99 | — |
| Cilantro Lime Veggie Loaded Bowl with Cheese | $7.99–$8.99 | 134–570 |
| Habanero Veggie Loaded Bowl with Cheese | $7.99–$8.99 | 114–550 |
A bowl typically costs about $1.20 more than the same filling in a wrap and comes in slightly lighter, since there’s no tortilla.

Donuts, Timbits & Baked Goods
Tim Hortons revised several bakery recipes in 2025. The company enlarged its chocolate chunk cookies and added more chocolate, increased the fruit content in apple fritters, and raised filling levels in Boston Cream doughnuts. If a Boston Cream tastes fuller than you remember, that’s why.

Calories, Nutrition and Allergens
Tim Hortons publishes full nutrition data for the Canadian menu in the Tim Hortons Nutrition Guide, Canadian Edition, available at timhortons.ca/nutrition-and-allergens. Those values are calculated using ESHA Genesis R&D nutritional software together with information from ingredient suppliers, and they apply nationally — unlike prices, nutrition does not vary by restaurant.
The figures below are transcribed from that guide. For the authoritative version, and for any item not listed here, go to the source.

Sodium is the figure most people miss. Several breakfast and lunch items carry over 1,000 mg in a single serving — Health Canada’s adequate intake for adults is 1,500 mg a day, with 2,300 mg as the upper limit.
Verify any figure you’re relying on against the official guide. Recipes changed in 2025 and published values move with them.
Allergen Information
Tim Hortons tracks nine priority allergens in its Canadian guide: milk, egg, wheat and gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, sulphites and shellfish.

Cross-contact. Tim Hortons restaurants are not allergen-free environments. Bakery items, sandwiches and drinks are prepared in shared spaces using shared equipment, and the same tongs, blenders, toasters and steam wands handle multiple products through a shift. Products described here as free of a given allergen may still come into contact with it.
If you have a serious allergy, tell the crew before you order and check the current allergen data at timhortons.ca/nutrition-and-allergens. Nothing on this page should be treated as a safety clearance.
Vegetarian, Vegan and Plant-Based Options
- Vegetarian: Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, Cilantro Lime and Habanero Veggie Loaded Wraps and Bowls, Chipotle Veggie Wrap, Simply Cheese Flatbread Pizza, Grilled Cheese Melt, Garden Vegetable Artisan Sandwich, all bagels, muffins, donuts, cookies and croissants, Potato Wedges, Hashbrown.
- Vegan-friendly, subject to cross-contact: black coffee, black cold brew, black iced coffee, steeped and specialty teas, Americano, plain bagels, Sparkling Quenchers, bottled water and juices, Potato Wedges.
- Milk alternatives: oat, almond and soy milk are available at most restaurants, usually for an upcharge. Substituting oat or almond milk in a latte or iced latte makes it dairy-free but not certified vegan, since steam wands are shared.
Tim Hortons does not currently operate a certified vegan menu in Canada. Availability of plant-based protein items has varied by region and by year.
Higher-Protein and Lower-Calorie Choices
- Highest protein per dollar: Chili (20 g), Turkey Bacon Club Artisan (34 g), Farmer’s Breakfast Sandwich (28 g), Bagel BELT (22 g), Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich (14 g), Omelette Bites.
- Protein line: Protein Latte, Protein Iced Latte, Protein Bagel BELT and Protein Quenchers were added through 2025–26 as part of a wider move into protein-enhanced products.

The simplest calorie saving on the menu costs nothing: order coffee black, or ask for milk instead of cream. A large Original Blend black is 5 calories. The same cup as a Double Double is in the low hundreds.
Caffeine Content by Drink and Size
Tim Hortons does not publish caffeine data. Its Canadian nutrition guide has columns for calories, fat, saturated and trans fat, cholesterol, sodium, carbohydrates, fibre, sugars and protein — and no caffeine column for any drink.
The figures below are third-party estimates, most widely compiled by Caffeine Informer. They are the best numbers available for Tim Hortons and they carry real uncertainty: published estimates for a medium brewed coffee range from 180 mg to 205 mg depending on the source.
Caffeine in brewed coffee
| Size | Volume | Estimated caffeine | Per 100 mL |
|---|---|---|---|
| Extra Small | 237 mL | about 110 mg | about 46 mg |
| Small | 296 mL | about 140 mg | about 47 mg |
| Medium | 414 mL | about 205 mg | about 50 mg |
| Large | 591 mL | about 270 mg | about 46 mg |
| Extra Large | 710 mL | about 330 mg | about 46 mg |
Original Blend and Dark Roast are estimated at similar levels. Roast colour is not a reliable guide to caffeine — a darker roast does not mean a stronger cup. Dark Roast tastes bolder because of how the beans are roasted, not because it carries more caffeine.
Across the menu
| Drink | Serving | Estimated caffeine |
|---|---|---|
| Original Blend | medium, 414 mL | about 205 mg |
| Dark Roast | medium, 414 mL | about 205 mg |
| Decaf brewed | large, 591 mL | about 12 mg |
| Espresso | single shot | about 75–125 mg |
| Espresso | double shot | about 150–250 mg |
| Americano | small | about 75–125 mg |
| Latte / Cappuccino | small | about 75–125 mg |
| Cold Brew | medium | about 200–250 mg |
| Iced Capp | medium | about 90–120 mg |
| Iced Coffee | medium | about 150–200 mg |
| Matcha Latte | medium | about 60–80 mg |
| Steeped Tea | medium | about 40–60 mg |
| Specialty Tea, green | medium | about 25–40 mg |
| Infusr™ Energy | 1 can | about 120–160 mg |
| French Vanilla | medium | about 60–90 mg |
Caffeine-free: hot chocolate, white hot chocolate, all Fruit Quenchers, Frozen Lemonade, Creamy Chills, herbal specialty teas, fountain pop except colas, juices, milk, water.
Two things worth knowing. Espresso drinks scale by shot count, not cup size — a small latte and a large latte built on the same shots carry similar caffeine, so paying more for a larger size buys you milk, not stimulant. And cold brew carries more caffeine per millilitre than drip coffee because of the long steep, despite tasting smoother.
Brewed coffee caffeine also moves with grind, brew time, water temperature and how full the cup is poured. Two identical orders at the same restaurant will not match exactly.
Health Canada guidance
Health Canada advises healthy adults to keep caffeine under 400 mg a day, with a lower limit of 300 mg for people who are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy. For children the recommended maximum is 2.5 mg per kilogram of body weight.
One extra large brewed coffee is most of the adult daily figure in a single cup. Two mediums put you at roughly 410 mg.
Do Tim Hortons Prices Change by Province?
Yes — and between restaurants in the same city.
Tim Hortons restaurants in Canada are almost entirely franchised. Franchisees set their own menu prices within brand guidelines, which means two locations a few kilometres apart can charge different amounts for an identical medium coffee. There is no national price list, and Tim Hortons does not publish one.
What drives the difference
- Location type. Restaurants inside airports, hospitals, university campuses, highway service centres and transit stations routinely price above standard, sometimes by 20–30%. Rent and operating costs drive it.
- Urban versus rural. Downtown restaurants in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary tend to sit at the upper end of the range. Small-town and suburban locations tend to sit lower.
- Regional cost base. Labour rates, rent and distribution costs vary by province, and franchisees price accordingly.
What does not vary
Nutrition figures are national. A Boston Cream donut is 240 calories in Halifax and 240 calories in Saskatoon. Item names, sizes and recipes are set centrally.
Tax on top
Every price on this page is before tax. What gets added depends on where you are:
| Province | Sales tax on prepared food |
|---|---|
| Alberta | 5% GST |
| British Columbia | 5% GST |
| Saskatchewan | 5% GST + 6% PST |
| Manitoba | 5% GST |
| Ontario | 13% HST |
| Quebec | 5% GST + 9.975% QST |
| New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, PEI | 15% HST |
Ontario applies a point-of-sale rebate that reduces HST to 5% on qualifying prepared food and beverage purchases totalling $4.00 or less — which covers most single coffee-and-donut orders. Tax rules change; confirm current rates with the CRA or your provincial authority.
Delivery pricing is different again
Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes list higher item prices than the same restaurant charges in-store, before service fees, delivery fees and tips. A menu that reads $1.83 at the counter can appear well above that in a delivery app. Nothing on this page reflects delivery pricing.
Recent price movement
Tim Hortons raised coffee prices by roughly three to five cents per cup in 2025 — its first adjustment in nearly three years — after extreme weather in coffee-producing regions pushed up bean costs. Coffee costs have since come down substantially.
That’s the scale of change to expect at the brand level. Franchise-level variation is larger than any national adjustment.
New Items and Discontinued Items
Added in 2025–2026
Tim Hortons made two structural moves through this period. The chain broadened its menu into wraps, bowls and other savoury options to capture afternoon and evening traffic, and expanded its beverage lineup with energy drinks, protein-enhanced beverages, carbonated offerings and cold foam drinks.

Recipe changes
In 2025 Tim Hortons enlarged its chocolate chunk cookies and added more chocolate, increased the fruit content in apple fritters, and raised filling levels in Boston Cream doughnuts. The chain also installed new espresso equipment developed over several years.
These are product changes, not new products — the item name stayed the same while what you get changed.
Retired favourites
Items Canadians still search for that are no longer on the standard menu. Our menu changes log dates each one and tracks which have returned since:
- Dutchie — raisin-studded square donut, one of the original Tim Hortons offerings. Long gone from national menus and the most-asked-about discontinued item.
- Walnut Crunch — chopped walnut coating, discontinued nationally.
- Cherry Stick — cherry-filled twisted stick.
- Chili Cheese Bagel — savoury bagel variant.
Occasional regional or nostalgia-run returns happen, but none of these are standard menu items today.
Seasonal items that come and go
Baileys drinks, Candy Cane Hot Chocolate, Pumpkin Spice Latte and Iced Capp, holiday Timbits buckets and Cadbury Mini Eggs items are limited-time runs. If a menu site is showing you Candy Cane Hot Chocolate in July, it hasn’t been updated.
Seasonal and Limited-Time Menu
Limited-time items rotate several times a year and vary by restaurant. Anything listed as seasonal here may already have ended.
Typical seasonal calendar
| Period | What usually runs |
|---|---|
| January–March | Roll Up To Win; winter beverages |
| March–April | Easter items, Cadbury Mini Eggs cookies and donuts |
| May–August | Frozen and Sparkling Quenchers, Frozen Lemonade, Timbits buckets, summer Iced Capp flavours |
| September–November | Pumpkin Spice Latte and Iced Capp, maple and fall bakery items |
| November–January | Holiday drinks, Candy Cane Hot Chocolate, Baileys range, holiday Timbits trays, seasonal merchandise |
Roll Up To Win
Roll Up To Win is Tim Hortons’ recurring national contest, the successor to Roll Up the Rim to Win, which ran on physical paper cups from 1986. The contest moved to a digital format played through the Tim Hortons app, where rolls are earned on qualifying purchases and revealed in-app rather than by rolling a cup rim.
It typically runs in late winter or early spring and lasts several weeks. Prize pools have included free food and drinks, gift cards, electronics, vehicles and cash.
Mechanics, eligibility, prize structure and dates change every year. Check the official contest page and rules at timhortons.ca before playing — do not rely on any menu site, including this one, for current contest terms.

Where the size upgrade stops paying
Original Blend coffee, cost per 100 mL:
| Size | Volume | Price | Per 100 mL |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 296 mL | $1.59–$1.65 | about $0.54 |
| Medium | 414 mL | $1.83–$2.09 | $0.44–$0.50 |
| Large | 591 mL | $2.07–$2.29 | $0.35–$0.39 |
| Extra Large | 710 mL | $2.35–$2.69 | $0.33–$0.38 |
Small to medium saves roughly 10¢ per 100 mL. Medium to large saves another 10¢. Large to extra large saves about 2¢ — the smallest gain of the three steps. If you finish a large, the extra large is barely better value; if you don’t, it’s worse.
Bulk bakery, cost per unit
| Item | Single | 6-pack | 12-pack |
|---|---|---|---|
| Donuts | $1.59–$1.99 | about $1.32 | about $1.19 |
| Cookies | $1.49–$1.99 | about $1.25 | about $1.08 |
| Muffins | $2.19–$2.59 | about $1.75 | about $1.58 |
| Bagels | $2.19–$2.99 | about $1.75 | about $1.65 |
| Timbits | Single | 10-pack | 20-pack | 50-pack |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Per unit | $0.33–$0.45 | about $0.31 | about $0.25 | about $0.20 |
The 50-pack of Timbits is the best per-unit value anywhere on the menu — roughly half the single price.
Coffee for a group
Take Twelve at $19.99 works out to about $1.67 a cup, with cups, lids, cream, sugar and stirrers included. Twelve small coffees bought individually run $19.08–$19.80 without any of that. For anything over six people, Take Twelve wins on both price and logistics.
Cheapest way to feed four
| Approach | Rough cost |
|---|---|
| 4 × Simply Sausage Sandwich + Take Twelve | about $32 |
| 4 × breakfast sandwich + 4 × medium coffee | about $25–$28 |
| 12 assorted donuts + Take Twelve | about $34 |
| 50 Timbits + Take Twelve | about $30 |
The Simply Sausage Sandwich, frequently offered around $2.99 when paired with any size coffee, is the cheapest hot breakfast on the menu and the anchor of most low-cost group orders.
Best value picks
Cheapest hot drink: Espresso, about $1.49. Cheapest food item: Timbit, about $0.33. Most food per dollar: 50-pack Timbits. Most protein per dollar: Chili, 20 g for around $4–$6. Lowest calorie per dollar: black coffee or black tea. Best coffee value by volume: large Original Blend.
Most Ordered Items
No public sales data exists for the Tim Hortons Canada menu. What follows are the items with the highest search demand and the strongest presence in the brand’s own marketing — a reasonable proxy, not a sales ranking.
- Double Double — Original Blend with two creams and two sugars. Listed as its own line item in Tim Hortons’ Canadian nutrition guide, which is unusual for a customisation and indicates volume. Same price as a plain coffee.
- Original Blend — the standard medium roast, cheapest hot drink after espresso and tea, and the base for most other coffee orders.
- Iced Capp — on the menu since 1999. The Original at 260–430 calories is the cheapest and lightest of the family.
- Boston Cream — 240 calories, among the lowest of the filled donuts. Filling levels were increased in 2025.
- Honey Cruller — 320 calories, distinctive open texture, no direct equivalent at Dunkin’ or Krispy Kreme.
- Apple Fritter — 330 calories, fruit content increased in 2025.
- Timbits — introduced 1976. The 50-pack at roughly 20¢ each is the standard office and team order.
- Bagel BELT — bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato on any bagel. 490 calories, 22 g protein.
- Farmer’s Breakfast Wrap — the largest breakfast item, built for people who want one thing that holds until lunch.
Hours, Ordering and Delivery
Opening hours
Tim Hortons hours vary by restaurant. Many locations operate 24 hours, particularly on highways and in urban centres. Others open between 5:00 and 6:00 AM and close between 9:00 and 11:00 PM. Restaurants inside hospitals, airports, campuses and shopping centres follow their host building’s hours.
Breakfast and lunch service
Breakfast generally starts at opening. Many restaurants now serve breakfast items all day, though this is not universal and some still stop late morning. Lunch service usually begins at 10:30 or 11:00 AM.
The app shows the live menu for your selected restaurant, which is the fastest way to check what’s actually available before you leave.
Ordering in the app
The Tim Hortons app handles mobile ordering for pickup, drive-thru and curbside, stores payment methods, and tracks Tims Rewards. Select a restaurant first — prices and available items load per location.
Delivery
Tim Hortons partners with Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes across Canada, and offers delivery through its own app in some markets. Coverage varies by city and restaurant. Delivery item prices run above in-store prices before fees.
Payment
Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Interac debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay are accepted at most restaurants. The Tim Card — Tim Hortons’ branded gift card — works in-store, in the drive-thru and in the app. Balances can be checked at timhortons.ca or in the app.
Tims Rewards
Tims Rewards is the loyalty programme. Members earn points on qualifying purchases and redeem them against menu items. Earning rates, redemption tiers and offers change regularly, and personalised offers vary between accounts.
Check current terms in the app or at timhortons.ca/timsrewards. Any site publishing a fixed table of Tims Rewards offers is describing a programme that has already changed.
Tim Hortons Outside Canada
United States
Tim Hortons closed 2025 with 253 restaurants in New York, 204 in Michigan and 132 in Ohio, and grew from 636 US locations at the start of 2023 to 669. Going into 2026 the brand projected 50 new franchised US restaurants — 12 in New York, five apiece in Tennessee, Texas, Michigan and New Jersey, four in Georgia, three each in Florida and Ohio, two each in Missouri and Pennsylvania, and one each in Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland and North Carolina.
The US menu differs from Canada’s in ways that catch cross-border customers out:
| Canada | United States |
|---|---|
| Fruit Quenchers | Refreshers |
| Infusr™ Energy | TimsBoost |
| No standing value menu | 2 for $6 menu |
| Homestyle bun, bagel, croissant | Biscuit and English muffin also standard |
| Extra small (8 oz) available | Not offered; 10 oz is the smallest |
| Prices in CAD | Prices in USD |
Sizes are the same in fluid ounces, but a US large and a Canadian large are both 20 oz — the confusion comes from the missing extra small. Buffalo, Rochester and the wider western New York region carry the densest US concentration outside Michigan and Ohio.
United Kingdom
Tim Hortons operates in the UK with a menu built for the local market — different bakery items, different beverage names, prices in pounds. Several items sold there have never appeared in Canada.
California
There are no Tim Hortons locations in California. Searches for restaurants near San Francisco or San Mateo return nothing because the brand has no presence in the state. The nearest US locations are in the Midwest and Northeast.
Other markets
Tim Hortons operates across the Middle East, in India, and in several Asian and European markets, each with menus adapted locally — including items with no Canadian equivalent.

About This Guide
What this site does
This is an independent menu reference for Tim Hortons Canada. It exists because Tim Hortons publishes no national price list, and the menu sites that fill that gap mostly copy each other.
How the data is put together
- Prices are compiled from published Canadian menu pricing and cross-referenced across multiple sources, then published as ranges rather than single figures. Ranges reflect what they are: franchise pricing varies, and a single number would be wrong for most readers. Where sources disagree, the range widens to show it.
- Nutrition comes from the Tim Hortons Nutrition Guide, Canadian Edition, published by Tim Hortons and calculated using ESHA Genesis R&D software with supplier data. These figures are national and do not vary by restaurant.
- Caffeine is not published by Tim Hortons at all. Those figures are third-party estimates, labelled as such wherever they appear.
- Availability and hours are not published here as fixed facts, because they vary by restaurant. Every section that touches them points to the official store locator instead.
What this site does not claim
Prices here are typical ranges, not quotes. They exclude tax. They do not apply to delivery apps. Availability differs between restaurants and limited-time items end without notice. Tim Hortons’ own menu is the authority on what is being sold today.
Corrections
Prices move and menus change. If something here is wrong, email corrections@timhortonsmenu.com with the item, the price you paid and the city. Local reports are what tighten the ranges.

About Tim Hortons
Tim Hortons opened in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, founded by NHL defenceman Tim Horton with businessman Jim Charade. After Horton died in 1974, business partner Ron Joyce drove the chain’s expansion across Canada. Timbits arrived in 1976; the Iced Capp followed in 1999.
3G Capital acquired the chain in 2014 for $11.4 billion and formed Restaurant Brands International alongside Burger King. RBI later added Popeyes and Firehouse Subs.
Tim Hortons recorded its 20th consecutive quarter of positive comparable sales in the first quarter of 2026, with Canadian comparable sales up 1.5% and segment revenue reaching $997 million US, against $903 million a year earlier. RBI plans 80 new Canadian restaurants and 400 renovations in the current year, representing $130 million from Restaurant Brands and $270 million from franchisees.
The chain operates several thousand restaurants across Canada, concentrated most heavily in Ontario, and around 670 in the United States.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a medium coffee at Tim Hortons?
A medium Original Blend runs roughly $1.83 to $2.09 in Canada, before tax. Restaurants are franchised and set their own prices, so the figure varies by location. Airport, hospital and highway restaurants typically charge more. A medium cup holds 414 mL (14 fl oz).
How much is a dozen donuts at Tim Hortons?
Twelve assorted donuts cost roughly $13.99 to $14.49, which works out to about $1.19 each against $1.59–$1.99 for singles—a saving of around 35%. A six-pack runs $7.79 to $7.99, about $1.32 per donut.
How many calories are in a Double Double?
A medium Double Double — brewed coffee with two creams and two sugars — is roughly 170 to 230 calories depending on the cream used. The same coffee black is 4 calories. Cream and sugar add the calories but do not change the caffeine.
How much caffeine is in a Tim Hortons coffee?
A medium brewed coffee is estimated at about 205 mg, a large at about 270 mg, and an extra large at about 330 mg. Tim Hortons does not publish caffeine data, so these are third-party estimates. Health Canada advises adults stay under 400 mg daily.
What time does Tim Hortons stop serving breakfast?
It varies by restaurant. Many locations now serve breakfast all day; others stop late morning. There is no national cut-off time. Check the Tim Hortons app or store locator for your specific restaurant, both of which show live hours and menus.
Does Tim Hortons serve breakfast all day?
At many restaurants, yes — but not all, and it is not a national guarantee. Availability of specific breakfast items also varies. The app shows the live menu for whichever restaurant you select, which is the only reliable way to check.
Are Tim Hortons prices the same across Canada?
No. Restaurants are franchised and franchisees set their own prices within brand guidelines, so identical items differ between provinces and between locations in the same city. Airport, hospital, campus and highway restaurants often price 20–30% above standard.
What are the cheapest items on the Tim Hortons menu?
A single Timbit at about $0.33 is the cheapest food item. Espresso at about $1.49 is the cheapest hot drink, followed by small brewed coffee at about $1.59. The Simply Sausage Sandwich at around $2.99 is the cheapest hot breakfast.
Does Tim Hortons have vegan options?
Black coffee, black cold brew, steeped and specialty teas, Americano, plain bagels, Sparkling Quenchers and Potato Wedges contain no animal ingredients. Oat, almond and soy milk are available at most restaurants. Nothing is certified vegan, as preparation areas and equipment are shared.
Is there gluten-free food at Tim Hortons?
No certified gluten-free items are available. Bakery products, sandwiches and wraps contain wheat, and all items are prepared in shared spaces using shared equipment. Anyone with celiac disease should check the official allergen guide at timhortons.ca and speak to staff before ordering.
What’s the difference between the Canadian and US Tim Hortons menus?
Canada’s Fruit Quenchers are US Refreshers, and Canada’s Infusr™ energy drinks are US TimsBoost. The US has a 2 for $6 value menu and offers biscuit and English muffin breakfast breads. Canada offers an 8 oz extra small cup; the US does not.
Is there a Tim Hortons in California?
No. Tim Hortons has no restaurants in California. Its US footprint is concentrated in New York, Michigan and Ohio, with expansion underway in Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and New Jersey. Searches for locations near San Francisco or San Mateo return nothing.
How do I check my Tim Card balance?
Check a Tim Card balance in the Tim Hortons app, at timhortons.ca, or by asking staff at any restaurant. Tim Card is the brand name for the Tim Hortons gift card, and it works in-store, in the drive-thru and for mobile orders.
What’s the difference between an Iced Capp and an iced coffee?
An Iced Capp is blended frozen coffee with a thick texture, running 260 to 700 calories depending on size and flavour. An iced coffee is brewed coffee poured over ice — 0 to 240 calories, and about a dollar cheaper at every size.
