Tim Hortons Deals – October 2026: Current Specials, App Offers & How to Save

Last updated: October 19, 2026. This page is refreshed monthly — and unlike most deals pages, we tell you when a deal is dead. Every offer below is tagged with its status, because a “deal” from August wearing an “updated October” label is how people waste a drive to Tims.

One rule before the list: Tim Hortons app offers are personalized and rotate every Monday. The offers on your phone may differ from your neighbour’s — that’s by design, not a glitch. If a deal below says “check your app,” it means exactly that.

Timbits Tuesday: the best recurring deal in Canadian fast food?

A 10-pack of Timbits for $1 — every Tuesday, for Rewards members who order in the app. A regular 10-pack runs roughly $2.99–3.99, so Tuesday pricing is 67–75% off. Do the per-unit math: $0.10 per Timbit on Tuesday vs ~$0.30–0.40 regular. Even the 50-pack (the usual bulk play) can’t touch it per unit. If you buy Timbits any other day of the week, you’re donating money to the franchisee.

The $8.99 Dinner Deal: real, but verify

Multiple deal sites list an $8.99 Dinner Deal — main, side, and drink after 5pm daily — as current in October 2026. Here’s the honest caveat: the last official announcement of an $8.99 dinner deal was September 2025 (paired with the Thanksgiving Stack). We can’t confirm 2026 terms on official channels, so treat this as “probably running at participating restaurants” and check your app before you go. When it’s on, the math works: a sandwich + wedges + drink separately runs well past $12.

How Tims app offers work: check every Monday, activate before ordering, earn points, repeat. The format never changes, even as the offers rotate.

The Monday rotation, explained

Every Monday, the Tims app loads a fresh set of personalized offers — breakfast combos, BOGOs, percentage-off deals. Last week’s batch (October 12–18) included a $6 breakfast combo, 2-for-$6 classic breakfast sandwiches, and 20% off an Iced Capp with a bagel. That batch expired yesterday; today’s the refresh day, so open your app — the new offers are the ones that count, not last week’s screenshots on deal blogs.

Recently ended — don’t chase these

This section is why this page exists. Every one of these is still listed as “current” on at least one deals site. They’re not.

Is it actually a deal? The value math

A discount isn’t a deal if the regular price was inflated — but Tims’ regular prices are public, so the math is checkable:

  • Timbits Tuesday ($1/10-pack): ~$0.10 per Timbit vs ~$0.30–0.40 regular. Genuine 67–75% saving. The best deal on this page, no contest.
  • $8.99 Dinner Deal: a loaded wrap or sandwich (~$7–8) + wedges (~$3) + drink (~$2.50) separately ≈ $12.50–13.50. At $8.99 that’s ~35% off — if it’s running at your location.
  • Weekly app BOGOs (2-for-$6 sandwiches): a classic breakfast sandwich runs ~$4–4.50, so two for $6 saves $2–3. Real, but modest.
  • 20% off Iced Capp + bagel: saves roughly $1.50 on a ~$7.50 combo. Fine — not life-changing.

Rule of thumb: Timbits Tuesday and the dinner bundle are the two worth planning around. Everything else is a nudge, not a reason to drive.

Infographic: Tim Hortons deal-stacking rules — what to do and what to skip
The stacking rules in one graphic: earn points on sale items and activate offers first — but one offer per transaction, and never chase expired deals.

Deal-stacking rules (read this once)

  • One offer per transaction. Two app offers can’t combine in a single order — split into two transactions (with the 30-minute gap rule for Rewards redemptions in mind).
  • You still earn points on discounted items. A $1 Timbits Tuesday purchase earns Rewards points like any purchase. Always scan.
  • Activate before you order. App offers must be activated in the app before you pay — activating at the counter after paying doesn’t work.
  • Your offers ≠ their offers. Weekly deals are personalized by account and province. A screenshot of someone’s $6 combo doesn’t mean it’s in your app.
  • “Participating restaurants” means it. Franchisees opt in and out; delivery apps are usually excluded from in-store deals.

A correction: the real Rewards tiers

One popular menu site publishes Tims Rewards tiers of 340 / 440 / 950 / 1,250 / 1,450 points. Those tiers are wrong. The actual seven tiers are 300 / 400 / 600 / 800 / 1,100 / 1,300 / 1,800 points — confirmed on Tims’ official channels and covered in detail in our Tims Rewards guide. If you’re saving points toward a “950-point” reward that doesn’t exist, now you know why it’s not there.

How to never miss a deal

  • Check the app every Monday — that’s the refresh day for weekly offers.
  • Turn on Rewards notifications — bonus-point offers and limited deals push to the app first.
  • Bookmark this page — we update it monthly and mark dead deals as dead.
  • Follow the Tuesday rule — if Timbits are on your list any week, buy them Tuesday. $1. No exceptions.

Frequently asked questions

What are the current Tim Hortons deals?

As of October 19, 2026: Timbits Tuesday ($1 10-pack, verified), rotating weekly app offers (refresh Mondays), the $8.99 Dinner Deal (listed on deal sites — confirm in your app), plus the NHL Hockey Challenge contest and Upper Deck hockey cards. Full details above.

Does Tim Hortons have a happy hour?

Not right now. The $3 Happy Hour (daily 2–8pm) was a summer 2026 limited run and has ended. When happy-hour pricing returns, it’ll be listed at the top of this page.

How do I get Tim Hortons coupons?

Tims doesn’t do paper coupons in Canada anymore — deals live in the app as personalized weekly offers (refreshed Mondays) plus standing promos like Timbits Tuesday. Anyone selling you a “Tim Hortons promo code” for Canada is selling you nothing.

Is the $8.99 dinner deal still on?

It’s listed as current on multiple deal sites in October 2026, but we couldn’t confirm 2026 terms on official channels (the last official announcement was September 2025). Check your app before going — “participating restaurants” applies.

Can I use two offers in one order?

No — one offer per transaction. You can split into separate transactions, and you still earn Rewards points on discounted items.

Why are my app offers different from someone else’s?

Weekly app offers are personalized by account and province — that’s how Tims runs them. Your neighbour’s $6 combo may not be in your app, and vice versa.
